Its nice to know that what I am interested in, IA, is an actual position I can hold within a company. There are so many other related titles that can further my experience and worth in the eyes of employers. The positions listed in the book are: Design Director, Creative Director, Executive Art Director, Art Director, Senior Designer, Junior Designer, Studio Manager, Production Manager, Information Architect (that’s me!), Design Strategist, Human Factors Designer, Interface Designer, Producer, Director, Site Developer, Flash Developer, Game Designer, Illustrator, and Intern.
I can definately see myself doing at least 4 of these things: Information Architect, Human Factors Designer, Interface Designer, and the gopher, aka Intern. I really like the fact that this book has a general list and description of these types of jobs. They are all related and interlock to create groups and teams that can produce some amazing results!
